Tulip Time, one of Australia's oldest and best loved floral festivals continues to grow as the region's largest event. Corbett Gardens, the centrepiece of the Festival is mass-planted with over 75,000 tulips, 15,000 annuals and an additional 40,000 tulips planted across the Shire.

Overall a celebration of stunning tulip displays, entertainment, special events and premiere private gardens, so essentially there's something on offer for the young and the young at heart!

An interesting fact that perhaps goes unknown is that annually the Tulip Time attracts 65,000+ visitors
to the towns and villages across the region, with 38,000+ of these enjoying the festivities
in Corbett Gardens and ultimately accessing your marquee/business and
resulting in $7.2 million flowing into the regions visitor economy.
Constrained by the logistical size of the gardens, there are limited stalls available.



2017 CHARITY PARTNER  - redkite


Redkite is one of Australia’s leading national cancer charities with over 30 years’ experience in providing professional and essential support to children and young people living with cancer including their families.
In 2016 Redkite supported over 1040 people from NSW including seven families from the Southern Highlands.    Across the country the figure exceeds 3,700 individuals each year.      
Redkite receives no government funding and relies on donations from the community with amounts over $2 being tax deductible.

"The team at Redkite are very excited to be partnering with Tulip Time in 2017. The opportunity to introduce ourselves to the local community and the thousands of visitors who attend the festival will make a significant difference to the lives of children with cancer and their families.

Susanne Latimore – Redkite Ambassador  Suzanne Latimore
Susanne is an experienced journalist and TV anchor, and was part of the team that launched Sky News in Australia. Susanne’s son Manning, was diagnosed with cancer when he was 10, and underwent treatment included chemotherapy and surgery. Susanne has participated in our Trade a Treat campaign, appeared in advertisements promoting our partnership with Coles, and with her sister Belinda, rode in 300km in 3 days fundraiser for Redkite. Susanne is now a treasured Redkite Ambassador, sharing her family’s story with courage and candour at many Redkite events.

Each year Tulip Time seeks expressions of interest from charities wishing

to be considered as the endorsed Tulip Time Charity Partner.
Partnering with the Tulip Time Festival provides the appointed Charity Partner with a well known
and loved platform and opportunity from which they can fund raise as well as leverage/promote the
charities reach and brand awareness via various events, activities, merchandising etc. however;
it shouldn't be solely viewed for the purpose of fundraising.

2015 WORLD TULIP FESTIVAL OF THE YEAR

2015 World Tulip Festival of the Year

It’s been a very exciting period for Tulip Time since the end of last year’s record
breaking Festival (38,000+ visitors); with the pinnacle being named as
World Tulip Festival of the Year by the World Tulip Summit Society (WTSS).


This accolade is even more impressive when you consider the competition consisted of
high profile festivals with huge budgets from some 17 countries as far afield as Asia, Turkey,
the United States and Europe - including Keukenhof in the Netherlands!
 
Whilst we obviously can’t go head to head with some of the other competitors in regard to size, it was
noted that we excelled in the promotion and celebration of the tulip flower across a range of criteria
including the quality of the tulip experience, level of innovation, contribution to the destination’s
sustainability and amount of public and media recognition.
